The Laboratory
Created in January 2022, the Bacterial Communication and Anti-infectious Strategies (CBSA, UR4312) research unit is the result of the merger of the "Laboratoire de Microbiologie Signaux et Microenvironnement" (LMSM, EA4312) of the Université de Rouen Normandie and the Stress-Virulence team of the "Unité de Recherche Risques Microbiens" (U2RM, EA4655) of the Université de Caen Normandie.
Comprising a single team based at the Evreux IUT and University of Caen Normandie Campus 1, UR CBSA focuses on the role of communication and environmental signals in bacterial adaptation, stress response and virulence, and the development of new anti-infective strategies.
