Omic
The genomics platform provides expertise in 2nd (Illumina - Miseq) and 3rd (Oxford Nanopore Technologies - MinION) generation sequencing techniques. This platform is part of the Evreux Health Safety Platform (PS2E).
- sample management and nucleic acid extraction.
- preparation and quality control of sequencing libraries.
- sequencing run monitoring and data management.
It also offers support in bioinformatics and biostatistics analysis of large biological datasets:
- storage and high-performance computing.
- genomic, metagenomic, transcriptomic, proteomic and metabolomic studies.
- phylogenetic/phylogenomic approaches.
All these skills/applications are exploited within the framework of collaborations or service provision: the platform's services are available to members of the CBSA Research Unit, as well as to external parties (academic and industrial). It is involved in setting up, carrying out and monitoring “genomics”-themed projects.
